Native NAC is a zero-sugar drink mix that combines a potent blend of NAC, glycine, and taurine into one convenient scoop to promote glutathione production. This antioxidant—found in every cell within your body—helps eliminate toxins in the liver, support cellular energy, and promote healthy aging.†
- Glutathione Production: NAC helps replenish glutathione—arguably your body’s most powerful antioxidant. Glutathione protects the body against free radicals, peroxides, and heavy metals, which can damage cells and contribute to faster aging.
- Liver Function: Exposure to factors like alcohol, high-fat diets, some medications, or environmental pollutants can stress and inflame the liver. Native NAC focuses on supporting the liver's antioxidant defenses to safeguard liver cells (hepatocytes) against damage.
- Natural Detoxification: Your body has to deal with toxins (pesticides, drugs, heavy metals) on a daily basis, and most of the time they do a great job of it! But sometimes it needs a helping hand. NAC helps your liver convert many of these toxins into forms that are easier for your body to get rid of.
- Cellular Health: You can't have a healthy body without healthy cells. NAC promotes cellular detoxification, glycine supports the formation of collagen and DNA, and taurine helps stabilize cell membranes.
- Immune Support: Native NAC works in three ways to boost your immune system. NAC helps produce glutathione, a powerful antioxidant that helps strengthen your immune system. Taurine helps regulate your immune response, and glycine aids in the production of immune-related molecules.
- Muscle Health: Studies show that amino acids play a crucial role in muscle growth and recovery. This is why we included a powerful blend of 1,600mg of NAC, 1,600 mg of glycine, and 500 mg of taurine to give your muscles the nutrients they need to stay strong and healthy.

NAC, short for N-Acetylcysteine, is a supplement form of cysteine, an amino acid that is important for a number of bodily processes. NAC is particularly known for its role in replenishing the levels of glutathione, one of the body's most powerful antioxidants.
- The potent antioxidant function helps the body neutralize free radicals and replenish its glutathione stores.
- Helps break up mucus, making it easier to clear from congested lungs and sinuses.
- Enhances immune function by supporting the production and function of immune cells.
- Enhances antioxidant activity to promote a normal inflammatory response in the lungs.
- Supports liver and kidney detoxification by aiding the clearance of heavy metals, such as mercury and cadmium.
The recommended daily amount of NAC is 600-1,800 mg. However, to be safe, consult with your primary care physician to discuss the precise dosing for your health needs.
Native NAC is generally considered safe when consumed within recommended doses. However, excessive intake or individual sensitivities may lead to potential side effects in some individuals. These may include gastrointestinal distress, fatigue, allergic reactions, or interference with certain medications.
NAC is considered safe with most medications and supplements. However, individuals taking nitroglycerin should not take NAC, as the combination could cause extremely low blood pressure and headaches.
Before it can go to work to help your body function at its best, NAC needs to be converted into glutathione. This takes at least a full hour after you take your supplement. After an hour or two, you should start to feel an improvement in things like lung function and energy levels.
Some conditions may require longer-term use of NAC before improvement is seen, so it’s important to take it consistently.
*Individual experiences may vary.
NAC powder can be stored in a closed container at room temperature (away from high heat or humidity) for two years without spoiling or degrading.
