Sugar-Free Vanilla Chai Latte

March 15, 2024

This Sugar-Free Vanilla Chai Tea Latte is incredibly simple to make at home. It’s creamy and warming, plus you probably have all the ingredients in your pantry.

Why You'll Love this Recipe

  • Sugar-Free: The American Heart Association recommends no more than 25 grams of sugar for women and 36 grams for men (1). A medium chai latte from a coffee shop can contain 240 calories, 45 grams of carbs, and 42 grams of sugar (2). This recipe however, contains zero added sugar.
  • Anti-Inflammatory: Chai is a vibrant and spicy mixture of black tea, ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom. These ingredients can help reduce inflammation in the body, which can soothe chronic pain, as well as ward off inflammation-related diseases like arthritis, autoimmune disorders, and IBS (3, 4, 5).
  • 5 Grams of MCTs: Each latte contains 5 grams of MCTs. MCTs have been shown to increase energy, curb appetite, clear brain fog, maintain blood sugar levels, support metabolism, and more (6, 7, 8).

Here's What You Need

  • Frother: To quickly and easily mix together your latte without any clumps.
  • Loose Chai Tea: To act as the main flavoring of the latte, plus healthy antioxidants.
  • NativePath Vanilla Chai Collagen Creamer: To provide sweetness and extra chai flavor with the added bonus of collagen and MCT.
  • Unsweetened Almond Milk: To help make the latte super rich and creamy without any gut-irritating dairy.
  • Water: To steep the tea in.
  • Cinnamon: To add a flavorful finishing touch to the latte.
